Lodging: The lodging charge applies to on-campus housing only in the international student dorm, which is not guaranteed. Students living in off-campus housing should expect to pay between $2,440 - $4,000 USD. The actual amount should be based on the rental agreement and is to be calculated individually by the student. Tsinghua SEM does not offer service in finding off-campus apartments for incoming exchange students.

Mandatory Health Insurance: According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education of China, every international student who studies in China should be covered with a medical insurance and join the group medical insurance scheme designated by the university/college, meeting the fundamental medical insurance standard.

Additional Program Information: Students will have to travel to a local consulate to obtain the appropriate visa. Travel costs will vary by student.
